What is collected

If you buy Island Hours, Paddle (the merchant of record) collects the information it needs to take payment and send a receipt — typically your email address, payment details (handled by Paddle, not by this site), and billing country for tax. The seller may receive your email and order metadata from Paddle in order to fulfil the licence and answer support mail.

What this site does not do

The static pages and the overlap app do not use creepy tracking. There is no advertising pixel, no fingerprinting script, and no third-party analytics baked into these files. Timezone choices stay in your browser (localStorage on your machine) so the app can remember your cities. That data is not sent to the seller.

Paddle is merchant of record

Checkout, invoices, tax calculation, and payment-provider data are Paddle’s responsibility. Read Paddle’s own privacy documentation for how they process buyer data. This website does not see your full card number.

Hosting and logs

If the public site is hosted on a static host (for example Cloudflare Pages or Netlify), that host may keep ordinary server logs such as IP address and requested URL, for security and operations. Those logs are not used here to profile you.

Email

If you write to nathanivaiti@gmail.com, that message is kept only as long as needed to reply and keep a minimal support record.

Children

Island Hours is a work tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this notice changes in a material way, the updated text will be posted on this page.
